The Bristol Loaf is an artisan bakery situated on Church Road, Redfield. We are small, independent company who handcraft the tastiest breads as well as savouries, pastries and cakes. We use only the highest quality, organic ingredients sourced as locally and ethically as possible. In addition to our more traditional bakes, we also offer a range of vegetarian, vegan and non-gluten products.

Specialty coffee is always available from our contemporary Brew Bar and you can indulge yourself with delicious natural wines from Native Vine. The counter is always stocked with freshly baked pastries, a tasty range of sandwiches and a selection of cakes to suit all tastes and dietary requirements, alongside artisan loaves to take away. For enquiries and bookings please send an email to beacon@thebristolloaf.co.uk.

Brew Bar

Our passion for coffee is pretty clear as soon as you walk into the café. Our Espresso Bar offers Single Origin Espressos, as well as a naturally decaffeinated coffee. In addition to our partnership with Oddkin Roasters, we also like to explore ethical roasteries and build new relationships by showcasing their finest coffees.

As well as serving espressos we also offer a choice of two filter coffees – batch brew and a manual pour over. For both of these options we select some of the most delicious and unique coffees we have ever tasted from various UK coffee roasters.
While batch brew is great as a quick and tasty option, pour overs require a bit more time and expertise to brew. Using Origami brewers our highly trained baristas bring the unique coffee experience to you highlighting various tea-like flavours and truly letting these single origins shine.

Native Vine

The Native Vine bar boasts a range of unique, organic and natural wines from small scale producers, including many from lesser-known regions and grape varieties. There are styles to suit all palates and our focus is on integrity, sustainability and affordability. Most are certified organic or biodynamic and vegan, available by the glass or bottle, in addition to our refillable wines on tap. We will also be serving local draught beers and spirits. The bar will open during the day and will also cater for evening shows and events scheduled at Bristol Beacon.
